HeadQuarter Turkey

Despite the many initiatives that indicated tangible progress in strengthening relations between Turkey and some Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the real translation that accompanied these initiatives was reflected on these relations in general and on economic cooperation in particular, and among these repercussions is the increase in Arab investments in Turkey, as well as in the introduction of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia deposited a financial deposit amounting to five billion dollars to the Central Bank of Turkey in March of the current year.

The repercussions of what came in the Arab summit had a more significant impact on the scale of the development of these relations, and this is evident in the speech of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who Focus on Turkey as one of the most important countries in the region with which relations should be strengthened.

HeadQuarter Turkey

In contrast to the closing statements of previous Arab summits, the current closing statement was devoid of any reference to Turkey’s military actions in northern Syria and Iraq, which were referred to as negative criticism, while this silence is translated as a sign of improved relations with Arab countries on the one hand, And an acknowledgment of Turkey’s right to exercise the right to defend itself against terrorist organizations in those areas, on the other hand.

These results show the success of the Turkish policy that was followed towards some Arab countries towards zero problems with them. It also reflects the size of the role that Turkey can play in the region, and the growing confidence on the part of the countries of the region in relying on Turkey to provide an appropriate environment for building effective relations between countries.
